Udfordring

Gennem samarbejdspartneren letstend.dk fik CCA en unik mulighed for at påvirke det kommende verdensmesterskab i 2017, som teamet bag konkurrencen havde fået godkendt i Tokyo året forinden. CCA’s opgave var at sikre, at alle deltagere, sponsorer og besøgende ville få en kvalitetsoplevelse. Vi skulle agere som medarrangører og rådgive om markedsføringen af konkurrencen, der også omfattede messestande, pop-up barer og de danske mesterskaber.

Indsigt

Den største udfordring, vi stod over for, var det enormt stramme tidsplan. Dette satte os i en vanskelig position med hensyn til markedsføringen af projektet og begrænsede i høj grad den effekt, vi kunne opnå med vores kompetencer. Vi fik mulighed for at introducere os selv for bestyrelsen i den internationale bartenderorganisation, samarbejde med Dansk Bartender Laug og hjælpe Let’s Tend med logistikken, bemandingen og afviklingen af konkurrencen. Med den rette indsigt kunne vi samle alle involverede parter for at sikre, at alt blev klar til tiden.

Løsning

I samarbejde med bureauet N’fellows, der stod for markedsføringen af konkurrencen, udviklede vi konceptet “Cocktailors”. Dette koncept omfattede planlægning af pop-up barer, hvor gæsterne kunne få en personlig cocktail, som de kunne indløse under selve konkurrencen. Derudover formåede vi at sikre 10 sponsoraftaler, der hjalp med at finansiere konkurrencen. Vi mobiliserede vores team for at sikre, at alt var klar til både verdensmesterskabet og de danske mesterskaber.

Undervejs blev det nødvendigt for os at overtage formandsposten for Dansk Bartender Laug (bartenderen.dk), der senere gennemgik en vellykket rekonstruktion. Det konkurrenceformat, som Let’s Tend præsenterede i Øksnehallen i 2017 med vores støtte, blev model for verdensmesterskabet i Tallinn i 2018, en begivenhed, som vi også var vidne til. Som bonusinformation kan nævnes, at Damiano Pezzi fra Danmark vandt prisen for verdens bedste Long drink og var kun en pint fra at vinde den overordnede titel som verdens bedste bartender i 2017.
